Nine Different Saints Score in Women's Lacrosse Victory Over Hanover

(HANOVER, Ind.) - The women's lacrosse team at Thomas More defeated Hanover by a score of 16 to 5 on Thursday (April, 6th) afternoon. The Saints move to 6-7 overall on the season. 

How they scored

  • Junior Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio / Mercy McAuley) got the Saints started with a goal off an assist from junior Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky. / Mercy). (1-0)
  • First year Meg Pierani (Bright, Ind. / Mercy McAuley) followed with a goal off an assist from sophomore Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, Ohio / Lebanon) to extend the Saints lead. (2-0)
  • Kendra Yurt scored an unassisted goal to make it a three goal lead for Thomas More. (3-0)
  • Hanover scored midway thru the first quarter to cut into the TMU lead. (3-1)
  • First year Rachel Blevins (Cincinnati, Ohio / Oak Hills) got a pass from Gracey Robinson and scored to extend the Saint lead. (4-1)
  • Hanover ended the first quarter with another goal to make it a 2 goal game. (4-2)
