Men's Lacrosse Falls to Malone in a Close One.

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More men's lacrosse team lost to Malone University on Wednesday (March, 29th) afternoon. The Saints drop to an overall record of 1-10 on the season. 

• Malone took the early lead with a goal at the 9 minute mark of the first quarter. (0-1)
• First year Donahugh Simpson (Spanish Town, Jamaica / St. George's College) scored an unassisted goal to tie the game at 1. (1-1)
• First year Spencer Lethbridge (Olmsted Falls, Ohio / Olmsted Falls) scored on an assist from first year Nick Boriin (Worthington, Ohio / Thomas Worthington) to take the lead for the Saints. (2-1)
• First year Graham Houser (Hilliard, Ohio / St. Charles) found the back of the net off an assist from Donahugh Simpson to extend the TMU lead. (3-1)
• Malone answered with back to back goals to tie it up. (3-3)
• Donahugh Simpson scored off an assist from Graham Houser to take back the lead for the Saints. (4-3)
• Malone answered to tie it up at 4. (4-4)
• Graham Houser connects for another goal off an assist from Spencer Lethbridge. (5-4)
• Malone answered to tie it up again. (5-5)
• Graham Houser scored an unassisted goal, and Donaugh Simpson scored off an assisted from Spencer Lethbridge to take a 2 goal lead. (7-5)
• Malone scored another goal in the final minutes of the half to go down 1. (7-6)
• Malone opened the second half with 4 straight goals to take a lead. (7-10)
• Graham Houser scored back to back goals both off assists from Spencer Lethbridge to get within 1. (9-10)

• Graham Houser led the Saints with 5 goals, an assist and a ground ball.
• Spencer Lethbridge recorded a goal to go along with 4 assists, a ground ball and a caused turnover. 
• Donahugh Simpson scored 3 goals, to go with an assist and a ground ball.
• Nick Boriin recorded an assist and a ground ball.
• First year Kaleb Lusanga (South Bend, Ind. / Mishawaka Marian) won 12 face offs and also had a team high 7 ground balls.
• First year Trevor Almanza (Cincinnati, Ohio / Fairfield) recorded 16 saves while in the goal.

Men's lacrosse will return to action this Thursday (April, 13th) when the Saints host Mount Vernon Nazarene at Republic Bank Field. That game is set to begin at 5:00 PM ET.
