(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The women's lacrosse team at Thomas More defeated the Franklin Grizzlies on Saturday (March, 25th) afternoon by a score of 18 to 8. The Saints improve their overall record to 3-7 on the season. Sophomore Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, Ohio / Lebanon) broke the single game record for Points and Assists. Junior Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky. / Mercy) also set the record for draw controls in a game in program history.
- First year Meg Pierani (Bright, Ind. / Mercy McAuley) got the Saints started with an unassisted goal to give them the early lead. (1-0)
- Gracey Robinson followed 30 seconds later with an unassisted goal to make it a two goal game. (2-0)
- Franklin answered with a goal to cut into the Saint lead. (2-1)
- First year Sarah Metz (Middletown, Ohio / Little Miami) scored on an assist from Gracey Robinson to put the Saint lead back to two. (3-1)
- Franklin scored 3 straight goals to take the lead. (3-4)
- Kendra Yurt scored an unassisted goal to tie it up. (4-4)
- Franklin answered in the final minute of the opening quarter to take back the lead. (4-5)
- Kendra Yurt scored on a Gracey Robinson assist to tie it back up in the early stages of the second quarter. (5-5)
- Meg Pierani scored an unassisted goal, then got an assist on a first year Lexi Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio / Oak Hills) goal to put the Saints out in front. (7-5)
- Gracey Robinson scored on an assist from first year Rachel Blevins (Cincinnati, Ohio / Oak Hills) to stretch the TMU lead. (8-5)
- Meg Pierani again would find Lexi Williams for another goal to make it a four goal lead. (9-5)
- Franklin would score with 3:10 to go in the half. (9-6)
- Gracey Robinson would end the half with back to back goals, with the first coming off an assist from first year Anniek van der Heide (Harkema, Netherlands / Lauwers College Buitenpost). (11-6)
- Kendra Yurt would open the second half with a goal in the first minute. (12-6)
- Meg Pierani followed with a goal off another Gracey Robinson assist. (13-6)
- Franklin answered with a goal to make it a 6 goal game. (13-7)
- Gracey Robinson would dish out another assist to Kendra Yurt to make it a 7 goal lead. (14-7)

- Junior Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio / Mercy McAuley) found the back of the net off a Gracey Robinson assist. (15-8)
- Junior Mckenzie Mobley (Harrison, Ohio / Harrison) scored on an assist from Madi Carle with 6 minutes to go. (16-8)
- Gracey Robinson scored a goal off an assist from Sarah Metz, then had an assist on a goal by Lexi Williams that put the Saints up 10. (18-8)

Women's lacrosse return to action on Wednesday (March, 29th) when the Saints travel to Athens, Tennessee to face off with Tennessee Wesleyan. Game set to begin at 1:00 PM ET.
