(ATHENS, Tenn.) - The women's lacrosse team at Thomas More defeated the Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs by a score of 16 to 14 on Wednesday (March, 29th) afternoon. The Saints move to an overall record of 4-7 on the season. Junior Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio / Mercy McAuley) led the Saints with a career best 7 goals, which ties the single game record in program history.

- Madi Carle scored back to back Saint goals, both unassisted to give Thomas More the lead. (2-1)
- First year Sarah Metz (Middletown, Ohio / Little Miami) scored on an assist from first year Meg Pierani (Bright, Ind. / Mercy McAuley) to extend the Saint lead. (3-1)
- TWU scored to get it back to a one goal game. (3-2)
- Meg Pierani answered with a goal off an assist from first year Anniek van der Heide (Harkema, Netherlands / Lauwers College Buitenpost) with 3 minutes to go in the opening quarter. (4-2)
- Junior Mckenzie Mobley (Harrison, Ohio / Harrison) passed it off to Madi Carle who scored her third goal of the game to make it a 3 goal Saint lead. (5-2)
