Esports Drops Rocket League Opener

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More University Esports team made their program debut in their other two games Friday night in the Esports Game Room, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

• They dropped their best-of-five Rocket League series to the Defiance College Yellow Jackets, 3-0.
• They lost by scores of 5-0, 3-1, and 1-0.
• Their lone goal came from Ryan Schultz.
• In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Saints had four players play in individual matches against players from different schools in a best-of-five series.
• Zach Colbert (Loveland, Ohio/Moeller) won his series by a score of 3-0.
• Alex Wright (Prospect, Ky./Trinity), Brady Brunsman (Wyoming, Ohio/Wyoming), and Myles Anderson (Newport, Ky./Newport) all dropped their series 3-0.

The Saints will be playing League of Legends on Wednesday nights and Rocket League/Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Friday nights.
