Men's Basketball Secure Conference Win Over Walsh

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University men's basketball team defeated Walsh on Saturday afternoon (Dec 16, 71-60. The Saints overall record improves to 7-4 and 3-1 in conference.

• Graduate student Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) kicked things off for the Saints, driving to the rim for a layup with 19:09 on the clock (2-0).
• Junior Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) knocked in a 3-point basket with 12:44 to play in the first half to put the Saints up 16-10.
• Junior Kyle Ross (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) made a layup to extend the Saints lead to 27-17 with 7:12 in the half to play.
• Junior Wyatt Vieth (Hebron, KY./St. Henry) hit a jumper for the final basket of the half with 1:49 to go to make it a 35-25 game.
• Kyle Ross led the team with eight points and had three rebounds and one assist.
• First year Carson Browne (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) led the Saints defensively in the first half with five rebounds.
• Casey George has three assists to lead the team and had six points and two rebounds.
• Junior Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) also led the Saints with three assists.
• The Saints were 48.3% (14-29) from the field, 53.8% (7-13) from the 3-point line, and 0% (0-2) from the free throw line in the first half.

• Reid Jolly made a jump shot to start things off for the Saints in the second half with 19:05 on the clock (37-27).
• First year Nathan Dudukovich (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) knocked in 3-point basket to make it a 49-43 game with 10:25 to play.
• With 5:54 to play in the game, Kyle Ross would make a layup to put the Saints up 13 (60-47).
• Carson Browne drove in for a layup for the Saints final basket of the game with 2:24 left in the game (71-54).
• The Saints would defeat the Cavaliers, 71-60.
• Reid Jolly led the team with eight points and four rebounds in the second half and had two assists.
• Kyle Ross also had eight points and four rebounds to lead the Saints and had one assist.
• Nathan Dudukovich put up eight points to also lead the team in the second half and had one assist.
• Casey George led the way with three assists in the second half and had three rebounds and two points.
• The Saints were 56.5% (13-23) from the field, 42.9% (3-7) from the 3-point line, and 58.3% (7-12) from the free throw line in the second half.

• Kyle Ross led the team with 16 points and had seven rebounds and two assists.
• Reid Jolly recorded 15 points, six rebounds, and two assists.
• Nathan Dudukovich had 11 points, one rebound, and one assist.
• Wyatt Vieth tallied 10 points, four rebounds, and one assist.
• Casey George led the way with six assists and had eight points and five rebounds.
• Carson Browne brought down eight rebounds to lead the Saints and had four points and one assists.
