Men's Basketball Secure Conference Win Over Walsh

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University men's basketball team defeated Walsh on Saturday afternoon (Dec 16, 71-60. The Saints overall record improves to 7-4 and 3-1 in conference.

First Half
  • Graduate student Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) kicked things off for the Saints, driving to the rim for a layup with 19:09 on the clock (2-0).
  • Junior Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) knocked in a 3-point basket with 12:44 to play in the first half to put the Saints up 16-10.
  • Junior Kyle Ross (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) made a layup to extend the Saints lead to 27-17 with 7:12 in the half to play.
  • Junior Wyatt Vieth (Hebron, KY./St. Henry) hit a jumper for the final basket of the half with 1:49 to go to make it a 35-25 game.
