Box Score (BOLIVAR, MO.)-Thomas More University's men's basketball team beat Southwest Baptist on Saturday (November, 11th) evening by a score of 60 to 56. The Saints improve to an overall record of 1-1 on the season. This is the first NCAA Division II victory for the Thomas More program.

- First year Nathan Dudukovich (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) drilled a three pointer with seven minutes to go in the half off a Jacob Jones assist. (25-19)
- Dudukovich ended a 9 point run for Southwest Baptist by draining his second three pointer. (28-28)
- Jacob Jones takes the ball to the basket and makes a layup on the final possession of the half to tie it up at 31.

- Junior Casey George (Pickerington, OH / Pickerington North) made a layup to take back the lead for the Saints. (37-36)
- Nathan Dudukovich made his third triple of the ball game off an assist from Jacob Jones with 14 to play. (41-38)
- Dudukovich continued his hot hand by draining his 4th three pointer a minute later to make it a 6 point lead for the Saints. (46-40)
- A pair of free throws from Jolly and a Dudukovich layup put the Saints up 8 with 11 to play. (52-44)
- Kyle Ross put the Saints up four with a layup off a Jacob Jones assist with 2:29 to play. (58-54)
- Reid Jolly finds Jacob Jones for a layup with three seconds to go to secure the four point win for the Saints. (60-56)
- The Saints shot 10 for 24 from the field in the half. (41.7%)
- Nathan Dudukovich led the Saints offensively with 14 points on 5-11 from the field and 4-10 from the three point line. He also had 3 rebounds in 22 minutes of action.
- Reid Jolly recorded 13 points on 5-10 shooting. He had a team high 8 rebounds and an assist.
- Jacob Jones recorded 10 points and a team high 8 assists in the ball game. He shot 4-5 from the field and had 2 steals.
- Casey George saw 35 minutes of action. He recorded 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals for the Saints.
- Kyle Ross scored 9 points in 30 minutes of action. He also recorded 6 rebounds, and a steal.
- Thomas More shot 22-52 from the field and 6-19 from beyond the arc.
- Saints out rebounded their opponent 35 to 30.
The Saints return to action next Friday (November, 17th) when the host UC-Clermont at the Connor Convocation Center as part of the 2023 Connor Classic. That game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:30 PM.
