(OWENSBORO, KY) - The Thomas More football team defeated the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers on Saturday (October, 7th) night by a final score of 36 to 28. The Saints improve to an overall record of 4-2 on the season and Great Midwest Athletic Conference record of 3-1.

- With 7 minutes to go in the opening quarter, Kentucky Wesleyan scores on an 11 yard run to give the Panthers a 7 to 0 lead.

- In the opening minutes of the second quarter, Kentucky Wesleyan scores on a 27 yard touchdown pass to extend their lead to 14.
- With 6 minutes to go in the half, redshirt sophomore Jaden Hall (Springfield, OH / Shawnee) scores a 12 yard touchdown run to get the Saints on the scoreboard making the score 14 to 6.
- With 3 minutes to go, redshirt junior Rae'Von Vaden (Louisville, KY / Marion C. Moore) finds first year wide out Evan Brown (Lexington, KY / Lexington Christian Academy) for a 79 yard touchdown, making the score 14 to 13.
- With 35 seconds to go, redshirt sophomore Brooks Curran (Mason, OH / Mason) connects on a 49 yard field goal to give Thomas More a 16 to 14 lead.
- Kentucky Wesleyan scores with 11 seconds to go on a 25 yard touchdown pass to take a 21 to 16 lead into the half.
- Kentucky Wesleyan opens the second half with a 6 yard touchdown pass to extend their lead to 28 to 16.
