(FINDLAY, OH) - The Thomas More football team was defeated by the University of Findlay Oilers on Saturday (October, 14th) afternoon by a final score of 38 to 10. The Saints fall to an overall record of 4-3 on the season and Great Midwest Athletic Conference record of 3-2.

- With 10:22 to go in the opening quarter, Findlay scores on an 18 yard pass to take an early 7 point lead.
- Sophomore Luke Iden (Taylor Mill, KY / Scott High School) makes a 28 yard field goal to get Thomas More on the scoreboard with 4 minutes to go, making it 7 to 3.

- Findlay scores on a 38 yard touchdown pass to extend their lead to 14-3 early in the second quarter.
- Redshirt junior Rae'Von Vaden (Louisville, KY / Marion C. Moore) breaks loose for a 19 yard touchdown run with 5 minutes to go in the half, making the score 14 to 10.
- Findlay closed the half with a 4 yard touchdown tun to make it a 21 to 10 game.
- Findlay scores on a 22 yard run to make it a 28 to 10 game in the middle of the third quarter.

- Findlay made a 40 yard field goal with 7 minutes to go to extend their lead to 31 to 10.
- With 3:13 to go, Findlay finds the endzone to make it a 38 to 10 score.

- Rae'Von Vaden rushed for 27 yards and a touchdown, and also passed for 88 yards in the game.
- Junior Freddie Johnson (Cincinnati, OH / Colerain) led the team in receiving with 35 yards including a 31 yard catch.
- Graduate student Del Thomas (Fairfield, OH / Fairfield) led the Saints defense with 10 tackles in the game.

The football team will return to action next Saturday (October, 21st) when they host Hillsdale at Republic Bank Field for Homecoming. Game time is set for 12:00 PM.
