(ASHLAND, OH) – The Thomas More women's volleyball team fell to the Ashland Eagles on Sunday (October, 29th) afternoon by a score of 3 sets to 0. The Saints move to 4-21 overall on the season and 2-12 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
- Ashland took the first set 25 to 18.
- Ashland won set two 25 to 12.
- Ashland took set three and the match 25 to 15.
- Junior libero Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy / Barletti Ovada) tallied 19 digs in the match which led the Saints. She also had four assists and three service aces.
- Sophomore Emily Acito (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) led the Saints offensively with 8 kills. She also had 7 digs, 2 blocks, a service ace and an assist.
- First year setter Bekah Klinedinst (Trenton, OH / Edgewood) recorded 7 assists, 8 digs and 3 kills in the match.
- First year setter Avery Brieske (Oak Creek, WI / Oak Creek) recorded 10 assists, 3 digs and a service ace.
Thomas More will be back in action on Saturday (November, 4th) when they host Cedarville at the Connor Convocation Center. That match is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM.
