Volleyball Cruises Past UPIKE; Move To 2-0 In MSC

(Crestview Hills, KY) – The Thomas More University women's volleyball team won their third-straight match Saturday afternoon and second straight in the Mid-South Conference. They defeated the University of Pikeville Bears, 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-13).

How It Happened
The Saints dominated the first set, not giving UPIKE a chance to get anything going. They hit .533 in the set, with Ebony Gomez, Sydney Hilderbran, and Sawyer Lorentz all recording four kills in the set.

The second set was all square at 15-15, before the Saints ended the set on a 10-3 run to take a 2-0 match lead. A pair of Brenna Young kills and Delaney Needham aces fueled the rally.

The final set was all Saints as Gomez led the way with five kills in the 25-13 set win for the match sweep.
