Women's Soccer Closes Out Non-Conference Schedule with 3-0 Win

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University women's soccer team defeated Indiana Tech on Saturday evening (September 17) 3-0. The Saints overall record improves to 5-0-2.

• Sophomore Brooke Breaker (Ross, Ohio/Ross) scored her first goal of the season with 6:30 on the clock off a cross from Junior Ryann Meddings (Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield) to put the Saints on the board 1-0.
• Sophomore Ainsley Clark (Oxford, Ohio/Talawanda) found the back of the net off a carom from the warriors goal keeper to extend the Saints lead to 2-0 in the 11th minute.
• Clark finished a header into the goal for her second goal of the game off a cross from sophomore Lotte Derksen (Didam, Netherlands/Liemers College) in the 19th minute to make it a 3-0 game.

• Breaker tallied one goal.
• Clark put in two goals of three shots on goal.
• Meddings recorded one assist and three shots with one being on goal.
• Derksen had one assist.
• First year Olivia Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) tallied one shot on goal.
• First year Laure Laake (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mount Notre Dame) recorded six shots with two on goal.
• Junior Avery Seig (Lawrenceburg, Ind./Lawrenceburg) had one shot.
• Sophomore Eva Kinwel (Arnhem, Netherlands/Beehadal lyceum) 
• First year Emma Fluit (Komoka, Ontario/Medway) had one shot.
• First year Emilia Geren (Mason, Ohio/Mason) recorded one shot.

The Saints return to the field on Wednesday (September 21) at Georgetown (Ky.) to open up conference play at 8:00 pm ET.
