Women's Cross-Country Finish 9th at the Notre Dame National Catholic Invitational

(NOTRE DAME, Ind.)- Thomas More University women's cross-country team placed ninth out of 16 teams at the Notre Dame National Invitational.

First year Dyllan Hasler (Independence, Ky./Scott) led the way for the Saints, finishing in 34th place overall with a time of 19:28.99 and placed 15th in the Collegiate division.
First year Jess Sanders (Finneytown, Ohio/Finneytown) followed close behind in 42nd with a time of 19:43.2.
First year Savannah Faught (Georgetown, Ky./Georgetown) came in 49th with a time of 19:59.1.
Junior Sarah Bertsch (Wilder, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) ran a time of 20:24.3 to place 59th.
First year Marlee Ross (Brookeville, Ind./Brookeville) finished right behind in 60th with a time of 20:25.2.
Junior Ashley Akins (Verona, Ky./Walton-Verona) placed 62nd, running a time of 20:31.6.
First year Bethany Althauser (Anna, Ohio/Anna) came in 72nd with a time of 20:54.5.
First year Margaret McSorley (Versailles, Ky./Woodford County) placed 120th with a time of 21:27.1.
Senior Jenna Cayze (Florence, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) ran a time of 21:35.5 to place 126th.
Junior Alana Hinton (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) followed in 128th with a time of 21:39.5.
First year Mya Bross (Cleves, Ohio/Taylor) placed 138th, running a time of 22:00.4.
Sophomore Caileigh Waters (Walton, Ky./Walton-Verona) came in 142nd with a time of 22:07.7.
Junior Ashley Albrinck (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) ran a time of 22:12.1 to finish in 147th.
First year Caroline Kleman (Lakeside Park, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) finished in 150th with a time of 22:18.8.
Sophomore Megan Huth (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) rounded out the pack for the Saints coming in 155th with a time of 22:30.6.

The Saints return to action on October 1 at the Liv in Louisville XC Invitational in Louisville, Ky. at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park beginning at 11:30 am ET.
