Biography
Senior Highlights (2023): Competed in 4 events for the Saints. Recorded a season best 8th place finish at the Hanover Invitational.
Junior Highlights (2022): Competed in 6 races for the Saints with a season best time of 20:07:02 at the Jenna Strong Invitational. She was awarded Second Team All-Mid South Conference and was also awarded Academic All-Mid South Conference and Daktroics Scholar-Athlete honors for her efforts off the field.
Second Year Highlights: (2021) - Ran season's best 20:18 at the Brescia Invitational (16th overall).... Finished 23rd at the Mid South Conference Championships (20:25)... 13th at Stan Lyons/Butler Bulldog Invitational (20:45.80)... and 41st at Jenna Strong (20:42.70).
First Year Highlights: (2020-2021) - Finished 70th in the Cedarville Open...16th in the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic...21st in the Drakes Creek Scramble...21st at the Mid-South Conference Champioship.
High School Highlights: Sarah attended Newport Central Catholic High School,was coached under Katrina Hlebiczki and Tom Powers...Team Captain senior year...Broke the Distance Medly Relay junior year.
Personal: Sarah Bertsch is the daughter of Julie and Ron Bertsch...four siblings, Donovan(29), Houston(28), Tyler(27), and Carolyn(25)...had several family memebers attend Thomas More;Father Ronnie M. Bertsch (1982-1986), Grandpa Ronald L. Bertsch Sr. (1957), and Uncle Mark Ridge(2003-2007).
