Box Score 2 (LEBANON, Tenn.)-Thomas More University men's volleyball team fell to Cumberland (Tenn.) 3-0 and Maryville (Mo.) 3-1 on Saturday (March 5). The Saints overall record falls to 4-11 and 2-7 in conference.
Game 1: Cumberland 3-0
Saints fell to the Phoenix in three game with the scores of 18-25, 23-25, and 14-25.
Game 2: Maryville 3-1
Saints fell to Maryville with the scores of 25-16, 20-25, 14-25, and 22-25.
Game 1:
- First year Ben Albers (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) led the Saints with 11 kills.
- Junior Jonathan Litzler (Edgewood, Ky./Edgewood) led the team with seven digs.
- Senior Mason Cobler (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville South) tallied 17 assists.
- Senior Conner Young (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton) followed with 14 assists.
Game 2:
- Junior Q Roberts (Los Angles, Calif./Village Christian) led the Saints will 11 kills.
- Conner Young led the team with 14 assists.
- Mason Cobler recorded 13 assists and led the saints with nine digs.
- Junior Jacob Wehrman (Milford, Ohio/Milford) led the team defensively with four total blocks.
The Saints return to the court on Monday (March 7) against Cumberland (Tenn.) at 4:00 pm ET in the Connor Convocation Center.
