Will Busken (Cincinnati, OH / Elder HS), junior
Blake Kibler (Columbus, OH / Licking Heights HS) senior
Noah Smith-Trondle (Cincinnati, OH / Walnut Hills HS), and junior
Tanner Stinnett (Fairview Heights, IL / Belleville East HS). On Wednesday, the GLVC announced the recipients of the Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award.
Blake Kibler earned the honor for achieving a 4.0 GPA during the 2025-26 school year.
To qualify for the GLVC Academic All-Conference, athletes must have a 3.30 GPA on a 4.0 scale for the 2025-26 school year and compete on a sport sponsored by the GLVC. Thomas More was an affiliate member of the GLVC and only competed in men's volleyball within the conference. The Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award is named after Brother Jame Gaffney, former President of Lewis University for over 27 years and two-term Chair of the GLVC Council of Presidents.
