Box Score 2 Campbellsville, Ky. - The men's volleyball program at Thomas More split on day two of their Campbellsville MSC pod contest as they would fall to RV Webber International 3-2 and defeat Truett McConnell 3-0. With the split the Saints move to 7-16 overall and 4-11 in MSC play.
Game one: Webber International wins 3-2
- Webber won sets one, two, and five by scores of 25-23, 2927, and 15-12.
- Thomas More won sets three and four by scores of 25-21 and 25-18.
- First-year Ben Albers (Delhi, Ohio, Elder) notched 16 kills to lead the team
- Senior Brock Cassin (Louisville, Ky./Du pont Manual) notched 14 kills and four blocks in the effort.
- Junior Jacob Wehrman (Milford, Ohio/Milford) recorded 10 kills with a team high five blocks.
- Junior Jonathan Litzler (Edgewood, Ky./St. Henry) registered 24 digs to lead the team.
- Junior Conner Young (Cincninnati, Ohio/Princeton) led in assists with 31.
- Senior Mason Cobler (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville South) recorded 11 kills while picking up 22 assists.
Game two: Thomas More wins over Truett 3-0.
- Thomas More wins 3-0 by scores of 25-14, 25-19, and 15-14.
- Junior Cam Ware (Pearland, Texas / Turner) led the team in kills with 14 and also had nine digs.
- First-year Matt Gagnon (Cincinnati, Ohio / La Salle) registered 10 digs to lead the team.
- Senior Tanner Miller (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland) led the team in assists with 24.
- First-year Collin Stave (Centerville, Ohio / Centerville) had four blocks to lead the team in the win.
Men's volleyball will return to the court on Tuesday, March 22 when they travel to Midway, Kentucky to take on Midway University at 7 p.m. ET.
