(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-#1 Thomas More University women's basketball team defeated Miami-Hamilton on Saturday afternoon (November 26), 74-48 in the Julie Costello Classic presented by Barley Corns. The Saints overall record improves to 8-0.
- First year Rylee Turner (Newport, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) scored the Saints first eight points of the game to start things off for team.
- Senior Zoie Barth (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands) drained a 3-point basket for the Saints final basket of the quarter with 2:31 on the clock, to make it a 13-5 game.
- Junior transfer Alex Smith (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) started the second quarter off for the Saints with a 3-pointer to put the team up by eight with 9:44 to play in the first half.
- With 5:42 to play in the second half, senior Courtney Hurst (Burlington, Ky./Conner) knocked in a 3-point shot to extend the Saints lead to 24-10.
- Alex Smith would make a layup for the Saints final basket of the half, to make it a 38-19 game going into the locker room at the half.
- Rylee Turner would lead the Saints in the first half with 12 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks.
- Courtney Hurst followed with 10 points and two rebounds and led the Saints with two assists.

- Junior Rachel Martin (Cincinnati, Ohio/Summit Country Day) made a layup with 6:10 on the clock to extend the Saints lead to 47-25.
- Alex Smith would make the final basket of the third quarter, driving to the rim for a layup with 1:00 to play (51-31).
- Senior transfer Sammi Whiteman (Covington, Ky./Covington) made a layup for the Saints first basket of the fourth quarter to make it a 53-31 game with 9:32 to play.
