Saints Score Five as They Power Past Freed Hardeman

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY.)-Thomas More University men's soccer team, scored five goals in route to a 5-1 victory over Mid South Conference member Freed Hardeman. The Saints move to (8-3-1) overall on the season and (3-2-1) in Mid South play.

• Junior Jordi Cabau (Cubelles, Spain / Escola Vitae) got the scoring started with a goal off an assist from sophomore Sondre Taklo (Aalesund, Norway / Akademiet Videregaaende Skole) in the 11th minute of the match.
• First year Jan Steinkusch (Oberhausen, Germany / Gesamtschule Osterfeld) found the back of the net in the 14th minute off of a Taklo assist to make it 2-0.
• Sondre Taklo continued his productive day with a goal of his own off of an assist from first year Julen van Egmond (Amsterdam, Netherlands / St. Nicolaaslyceum) to make 3-0 in the 16th minute.
• Sophomore Flo Meyer (Mulheim, Germany / Luisenschule) found the back of the net off of a free kick, to make it 4-0 in the 44th minute.
• Julen van Egmond scored a goal of his own in the 61st minute making it a 5-0 match. Scored off of an assist from Jan Steinkusch.

• Sondre Taklo ended the game with a goal, and two assists.
