Box Score Crestview Hills, Ky. - The women's volleyball program at Thomas More defeated Mid-South foe Pikeville by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday night. With the win the Saints improve to 16-3 overall and 5-2 in Mid-South Conference play.
- The Saints won 3-0 by scores of 25-10, 25-10, and 25-22.
- Senior Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) once again led the team in kills, this time she recorded 19 and also had eight digs and six service aces.
- First-year Sam McClanahan (Georgetown, Ky./Scott County) led the way for both teams in assists notching 20 in the game.
- Senior Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) finished the night with 13 assists.
- First-year Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy / Barletti Ovada) led the team in digs with 10.
- Junior Sawyer Lorentz (Dover, Ohio/Dover) tallied two solo blocks and two assisted to lead the way in the blocks category.
The women's volleyball team will return to the Connor Convocation Center for their next match on Friday, October 1, when they take on the #17 ranked team in the country the Taylor University Trojans, opening serve is set for 7 p.m. ET.
