Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)- Thomas More women's volleyball team swept Shawnee State on Thursday evening (September 16) in three games, to improve their record to 13-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
The Saints swept the bears in three games, with the scores of 25-19, 25-21, and 25-23.
- Senior Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) led the Saints with 24 kills.
- Junior Ally Albrinck (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) followed with 10 kills.
- First-year Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada) and senior Megan Finley (North Bend, Ohio/Taylor) both recorded 16 digs to lead the team.
- First-year Sam McClanahan (Georgetown, Ky. / Scott County) tallied 17 assists to lead the team and had two blocks.
- Senior Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) followed with 15 assists.
- Junior middle blocker Danyka Groover (Rising Sun, Ind. / Rising Sun) led the Saints going up with four blocks.
The Saints are back on the road on Saturday (September 16), as they travel down to Williamsburg, Ky. for another Mid-South Conference match up, against the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) Patriots at 3:00 pm ET.
