Box Score 2 (BOWLING GREEN, KY.)- Thomas More's women's volleyball team defeats Reinhardt and Blue Mountain in the Vette City Classic to go undefeated this weekend (August 21).
Game 1:
The Saints swept Reinhardt in three games with the scores of 25-21, 25-21, and 25-14.
Game 2:
Saints win game 2 with the scores of 25-19, 25-23, and 25-12.
Game 1:
- Senior Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) led the Saints with 21 kills and had nine digs.
- First-year Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada) and senior Megan Finley (North Bend, Ohio/Taylor) both had 15 digs each to lead the Saints.
- Senior Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) recorded 21 assisted to lead the Saints in the game.
Game 2:
- Mohs led the Saints with 13 kills and 19 digs.
- Ferrando followed with 14 digs.
- Schoenfeld recorded 14 assists to lead the Saints.
- First-year Sam McClanahan (Georgetown, Ky./Scott County) had 13 assists and 9 digs.
- Finley recorded 13 digs.
Next up, the Saints return to the court August 28 against Byan College in Dayton, Tenn. at 12:00 pm.
