Box Score (PORTSMOUTH, Ohio)- Thomas More's women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to Shawnee State on Saturday afternoon (March 27). The Saints overall record falls to 6-11 and 5-8 in the conference.
The Saints fell to the Bears in three games with the scores of 25-11, 25-16, and 25-21.
- Junior right side/middle back Ashley Rees (Fort Wright, Ky./ Notre Dame Academy) led the team with nine kills and two blocks.
- Junior setter Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) had 19 assists to lead the team and also had 12 digs.
- Junior defensive specialist Megan Finley (North Bend, Ohio/Taylor) and first-year defensive specialist Lexi Striegel (Charlestown, Ind./Silver Creek) both led the team with 13 digs.
The Saints return to the court March 29 against Pikeville at 6:00 pm ET in the Connor Convocation Center.
