Men's Volleyball Drops a Pair of Matches in Georgia

(WALESKA, Ga.) – The Thomas More University men's volleyball team dropped a pair of Mid-South Conference matches today (Saturday, March 27, 2021) as it fell 3-0 to Webber International University and Life University in Waleska, Georgia.

WEBBER MATCH

• Webber won the match by the scores of 25-19, 25-20 and 25-23.
• Senior setter Mason Cobler (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville South) had 25 assists and seven digs.
• First-year middle blocker/outside hitter Jan Nunez-Gonzalez (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/Celebration) finished with eight kills and three blocks.
• Sophomore middle blocker Jacob Wehrman (Milford, Ohio/Milford) had six kills.
• Sophomore outside hitter Chris Carlson (Manila, Philippines/Brent International School) had six kills.
• Sophomore defensive specialist Jonathan Litzler (Edgewood, Ky./St. Henry) had eight digs.

LIFE MATCH

• Life won the by the scores of 25-22, 25-13 and 25-21.
• Cobler finished with 23 assists in the match.
• Nunez-Gonzalez had eight kills.
• First-year outside hitter Quentin Roberts (Los Angeles, Calif./Village Christian) had five kills.
• Litzler finished with five digs.

• The Saints return to the court on Tuesday (March 30) when they travel to Mount Vernon, Ohio to take on Mount Vernon Nazarene University at 7 p.m.
