Box Score (Pikeville, Ky.) – The men's basketball program at Thomas More fell to the University of Pikeville by a score of 82-79. With the loss TMU drops to 13-6 overall and 11-6 in conference play.
- Senior Luke Rudy (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) would make a two-point shot to start the game for the Saints to tie the game up at 2.
- Sophomore Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) tied the game up at 8 with 14:33 remaining in the first half.
- After a run by UPike, first-year Colt Meyer (Oldenburg, Ind./Batesville) would knock down a three-pointer to kickstart a 18-0 run to give Thomas More their first lead of the game at the 5:37 mark.
- Senior Ryan Batte (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) would give TMU their biggest lead of the half at 6 with 3:58 remaining in the first. The Saints would trail 40-37 at the half.
- Jolly would begin the second half by driving into the lane to make a shot from the block, making the score 39-40 in favor of the Bears.
- Senior Garren Bertsch (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) would make three free throws to give TMU a 42-44 lead with 17:35 left in the game.
- Jolly scored 7 straight points with 6:22 remaining to give the Saints a 69-66 lead.
- Meyer and Batte would make back-to-back buckets to bring Thomas More back to within one; however that is as close as they would get as they would lose 82-79.
