Biography

Senior Highlights (2021-22): Started 34 games for the Saints, averaging 33.0 minutes per game. Recorded team highs with 21.5 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game. Recorded seven double-doubles. Had a season high 36 points on 10-17 shooting against Tennessee Southern. Earned First Team All-Mid South Conference honors, and Mid South Conference Player of the year honors. Batte was also named to the First Team All-American and to the NAIA All-Tournament Team. He averaged 22.8 points on 54.5% shooting and 8.8 rebounds in the tournament. Named to the NABC All-American Team. 

Junior Highlights (2020-21):
Started all 27 games for the Saints, averaging 33.6 minutes...Averaged 18.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.85 assists per game...Recorded four double-doubles on the season...Scored a season high 30 points in a 72-68 win over Campbellsville on January 7...Recorded a career-high 15 rebounds on February 1 in a 70-54 win over Cumberland...Eclipsed 1000 career points against Freed-Hardeman on February 28...Named First-Team All Mid-South Conference. 

Sophomore Highlights (2019-20): 
Started all 32 games for the Saints, averaging 25.3 minutes...Averaged 13.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game...Recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds in an 87-67 win over Asbury on December 30...Scored a season-high 25 points in a 60-57 win over Cumberland on January 16...Scored 15 points with 10 rebounds in a 77-49 win over Campbellsville on February 20...Named Mid-South Conference Player of the Week on January 20...Named First-Team All Mid-South Conference.

First-year Highlights(2018-19):
Played in 13 games and started in 3 for the Saints, averaging 21.5 minutes...Averaged 10.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.

High School Highlights:
Ryan was a four-year letter winner at Oak Hills High School, coached by Mike Price...He was named First-Team GMC and Third-Team All-State his junior and senior year...Named Second-Team Southwest District his junior year and First-Team Southwest District his senior year...Ryan was also named Team Captain his senior year...Ryan was the first 1,000 point scorer, set the record for most free throws in a season (186), and was the first player to start four years on varsity at Oak Hills.
