Box Score (CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.) — The 18th-ranked Thomas More University men's basketball team used a 19-0 first-half run to jump out to a big early lead and never looked back in a dominant 77-49 win at Campbellsville University on Thursday night (February 20, 2020) that extended the Saints' winning-streak to six games.
- Senior Max Knisley (Washington Court House, Ohio/Washington) made a three-pointer with 14:02 remaining in the half to tie the game at 10-10 and kick off a 19-0 Saints run that kept the Tigers off the scoreboard for nearly 10 minutes.
- Sophomore Ryan Batte (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) scored nine points during the run as the Saints jumped out to a 26-10 lead with 6:42 to play in the half.
- The Saints went into the break with a 32-23 lead.
- Thomas More shot 11-of-27 (40.7 percent) from the field and 5-of-12 (41.7 percent) from three-point range in the first half.
- Batte led the team with nine points and four rebounds in the first half.
- Knisley had eight points in the half.
- Batte and first-year Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) each made layups early in the second half to push the Saints' lead back into double-figures at 36-23 with 18:33 left.
- Thomas More led by 18 points with 9:06 to go before a 17-2 run, which included seven points from junior Keegan Saben (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville), propelled the Saints to a 75-42 lead with 2:14 to play.
- The Saints were 16-of-27 (59.3 percent) from the field and 5-of-12 (41.7 percent) from beyond the arc, and a perfect 8-of-8 from the line in the second half.
