Box Score 2 (CINCINNATI, Ohio) – The Thomas More University men's volleyball team split two matches tonight (Friday, January 24, 2020) in its season opening matches at the Harrington Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  The Saints fell, 3-0, to Mount St. Joseph University, but defeated Millikin University, 3-2.
MOUNT ST. JOSEPH MATCH
  
- Mount St. Joseph won by the scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-15.
- Junior setter Mason Cobler (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville South) led the Saints with five kills, four assists, three digs and two blocks.
- Sophomore setter Tanner Miller (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland) had three kills and four assists.
- First-year defensive specialist Jonathan Litzler (Edgewood, Ky./St. Henry) finished with four digs.
- Sophomore outside hitter/middle blocker Jakob Jones (Cincinnati, Ohio/Roger Bacon) finished with two blocks.
MILLIKIN MATCH
  
- Thomas More won the match by the scores of 25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 22-25 and 15-10.
- First-year outside hitter Cameron Ware (Pearland, Texas/Turner) led the Saints with 11 kills, eight digs and five blocks.
- Cobler finished with 10 kills and six digs.
- Jones added 10 kills.
- Miller paced the offense with 28 assists.
- Senior defensive specialist/outside hitter Ryan Hans (Fort Thomas, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) had seven digs.
- First-year middle blocker Jacob Wehrman (Milford, Ohio/Milford) led the team at the next with six blocks.
 
- The Saints return to action on January 31 and February 1 when they host the Thomas More Invitational at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
- Thomas More will play Midway University on Jan. 31 at 6:30 p.m. and Reinhardt University at 8:30 p.m.
- On Feb. 1, the Saints will play Siena Heights University at 9 a.m. and Cumberland (Tenn.) University at 3 p.m.
