Saints Cruise to 116-46 Win Over Miami Middletown

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) — The Thomas More University men's basketball team rolled to a 116-46 win at the Connor Convocation Center on Saturday afternoon (December 14, 2019), with six Saints scoring in double-figures.

  • Thomas More led 9-6 before a 23-5 run, capped by a Luke Rudy (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) three-pointer, extended the lead to 32-11 with 7:30 left in the half.
  • The Saints went into halftime with a 56-21 lead.
  • Thomas More held a 24-8 edge in points in the paint in the first half, and outscored Miami Middletown 19-5 off turnovers.
  • Keegan Saben (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) led all scorers in the half with 12 points at the break.
  • Thomas More was 20-31 (64.5 percent) from the field and 8-12 (66.7 percent) from three-point range in the opening half.
  • The Saints outrebounded the ThunderHawks 20-6 in the first half

  • Thomas More continued its hot shooting in the second half, shooting 22-35 (62.9 percent) from the field and 8-15 (53.3 percent) from three-point range.
