Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - Senior defender Abby Gindling (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) scored at the 102:38 mark to propel the Thomas More College women's soccer team to a 1-0 double overtime win over rival Hanover College today (Wednesday, September 19, 2012) at The Bank of Kentucky Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
With the win, the Saints stay undefeated at 7-0 and with the loss, the Panthers fall to 5-2.
Both teams couldn't find the back of the net in the first 102 minutes and then Gindling found the back of the net off a deflection at the 102:38 mark.
Freshman goalkeeper Abbie McBride (Lakeville, Ind./LaVille) played all 102:38 in goal and earned the win as she recorded two saves.
Thomas More out-shot Hanover, 27-8, and won the battle of corner kicks, 7-4.
The Saints return to action on Saturday (September 22) when they travel to Ada, Ohio to play 22nd-ranked Ohio Northern University at 3:30 p.m.
