Sophomore Highlights (2023-24): Wrestled in 14 matches for the Saints, recording a record of 3 wins and 11 losses. Recorded 1 win by pin and 1 win by tech fall.

Freshman Highlights (2022-23): Wrestled 17 matches for the Saints, earning six wins with one fall. Named a NWCA Scholar All-American.

High School Highlights: Hunt attended Covington Catholic High School where he wrestled for head coach Joe Hunt. He was a four year Varisty wrestler, and two time team captain. He was a state qualifier his senior season. 

Personal: Joey Hunt is the son of Joe and Cindy Hunt. He has four siblings, Louie (27), Bridgette (25), Geena (22), and Taylor (15). His sister Bridgette Hunt attended Thomas More.
