Senior Highlights (2024): Appeared in 74 sets, 22 matches and made 2 starts for the Saints. Recorded 18 kills, 295 assists, 12 service aces, and 108 digs on the season. McClanahan finished her career with 2,285 total assists which is the 5th most in Thomas More program history.

Junior Highlights (2023): Appeared in 65 sets, 20 matches and started in 17 matches for the Saints. Recorded 32 kills, a team high 428 assists, 5 service aces, 112 digs, and 23 blocks on the season. Tallied a season high 47 assists in the September 19th match against Trevecca Nazarene.

Sophomore Highlights (2022): Played and started in all 29 matches and 109 sets for the Saints. Recorded 1045 assists, 62 kills, 27 service aces, 223 digs, and 40 blocks on the season. On August 27th against Taylor, she recorded a season high of 51 assists in the match. Her 1045 assists on the season earned her the 9th best most in a single season in program history. Her 1548 career assists moves her into 8th place all time in career assists in  program history. Earned AVCA All-Region, CSC Academic All-District, Academic All-Mid South Conference, Daktronics Scholar Athlete, and First Team All-Mid South Conference honors.

First-Year Highlights (2021): Played in 32 matches and 110 sets for the Saints. Recorded 51 kills, 503 assists, five service aces, 76 digs, 19 solo blocks, and 52 total blocks.

High School Highlights: Sam was a three year letter winner at Scott County High School under coach Joe LaMagno...American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award sophomore year... Team Captain junior, All Tournament Team, and Varsity MVP.

Personal: Samantha McClanahan is the daughter of Jeff and Julie McClanahan...two siblings, Melanie and Allie.
