Lauren Michelle Wietmarschen was born on September 30, 1990 ... daughter of Ted and Ruth Wietmarschen .... has three older siblings, Lisa, Katie and Greg.
High School Highlights:
Lauren lettered for three years while playing for coach Mike Homer and the Mcauley Mohawks. Throughout three years of play she scored 22 goals and accumulated 20 assists. She played for the Cincinnati West Lightning.
Freshman Highlights:
(2008) First Team All-PAC selection ... Played in all 21 matches starting 12 with 630 minutes of action ... had 31 points on 12 goals, seven assists ... she took 73 shots, including 37 on goal in the Saints' 21 matches.
Sophomore Highlights:
(2009) Played in 17 matches, starting all 17 ... was second on the team in points with 16, goals with six and was tied for for most assits with four ... took 59 shots, including 27 on goal.
Junior Highlights:
(2010) Injured most of the season, but played and started in 5 matches for the Saints ... She earned a medical hardship for this season ... had 5 points with 2 goals and 1 assist.
Senior Highlights:
(2011) Played and started in all 18 matches for the Saints... Third on the team in points with 5 goals and 6 assists.
5th Year Senior Highlights:
(2012) Named First Team All-PAC and First Team All-Great Lakes Region ... Lauren led the team in points on the season with 40 points, she had 12 goals and 16 assists.
