Kaitlyn Maria Owens was born on March 18, 1994 ... daughter of Shane and Paula Owens ... has two siblings, Chelsea and Thomas.

High School Highlights:
Kait earned four varsity letters at Newport Central Catholic High School ... had nine career goals and 12 assists ... her junior season she was named first team All-Region and honorable mention All-State.

Freshman Highlights:
(2012) Played in 20 games for the Saints this season ... helped anchor the Saints defense that only allowed 10 goals and posted 15 shutouts.

Sophmore Highlights:
(2013) Played in all 23 matches for the Saints this season... helped anchor the Saints defense that only allowed 8 goals and posted 17 shutouts.

Junior Highlights:
(2014) Played in all 25 matches for the Saints ... had five points on one assist and two goals ... both goals were game-winners.
