Abby Downard is in her first year as an assistant women's basketball coach at Thomas More University during the 2022-23 academic year.

Abby came to Thomas More after a stellar 5-year career at Marian University in Indianapolis, IN. Abby helped lead the Knights to 147-24 record, 5 Crossroad League Championships, and to the 2022 NAIA National Tournament Quarterfinals. Abby was named First Team All-Conference in the Crossroads League three times in her career. Downard was named NAIA All-American Second Team in 2020 and was a 2-time NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete. Abby finished her career as the leader in steals (291) and free throw percentage (86.0%).
