Biography

Personal:
Sydney Renee Turner is the daughter of Tim and Karen Turner…she has two siblings, Shelby and Sarah.

High School Highlights:
Sydney earned four Varsity letters as a Harrison High School Wildcat under Coach Mike Schiering. She received All-Conference academic awards all four years…received an honorable mention both sophomore and junior year, and senior year she received the golden glove award and played in the senior all-star game.

First-Year Highlights:
(2017) Played in 28 games including 4 starts for the Saints ... batted .182 with 2 RBI, scoring 9 runs.

Sophomore Highlights:
(2018) Played in 37 games for the Saints ... 43 AB ... batted .302, scoring 12 runs out of 13 hits and 1 double.  

Junior Highlights:
(2019) Played in 37 games including 30 starts for the Saints ... had 71 at bats with 8 runs with 13 hits and 3 doubles ... ended the season with a .183 batting average ... had 31 put outs.

Senior Highlights:
(2020) Played in 12 games for the Saints...Recorded seven hits in 25 plate appearances...Went 2-for-3 in a 2-1 win over Rio Grande on February 23...Finished the season with a .350 batting average and a .409 on-base percentage with two RBIs and two runs scored.
