Laura Elizabeth Finke is the daughter of Paul and Debbie Finke ... has four siblings, Michael, Kevin, Rachel and Brian.
High School Highlights:
Laura earned five varsity letters at Notre Dame Academy, where she played for Joe Stephenson ... holds the school record in single-season runs (52), stolen bases (32), hits (60), batting average (.537) and at-bats (121)and the career record in runs (196), stolen bases (120), career hits (206), batting average (.436) and at-bats (473). her freshman season she was named NKSCA Honorable Mention and was a NKAC nominee .. as a sophomore she was first team NKY Enquirer, first team NKSCAA, NKAC first team and 35 District All-Tournament Team ... her junior season she was team captain, first team NKY Enquirer, second team NKSCA, NKAC first team, 35th District MVP and 9th Region All-Tournament Team ... as a senior she was team captain, first team NKY Enquirer, NKSCA first team, NKAC first team and played in the East/West KY All-Star Game and the Gary Huhn All-Star Game.
Freshman Highlights:
(2014) Named second team All-PAC ... second on the team in batting with a .346 average ... was 47-of-136 at the plate ... had one triple, four doubles and nine RBI ... had 44 putouts.
