Personal:
Danielle Renee Piening is the daughter of Tim and Diane Piening ... has three sisters, Rachel, Amanda and Nichole.

High School Highlights:
Dani earned three varsity letters at Archbishop McNicholas High School, where she played for Terry Doyle ... two-time first team All-GGCL selection and a second team All-GGCL selection ... two-time team captain ... won the Best Defensive Player Award as a freshman, MVP as a senior and the Student-Athlete of the Month as a senior.

Freshman Highlights:
(2015) Played in seven games for the Saints ... had two at-bats and scored two runs.

Sophomore Highlights:
(2016) Played in 6 games…had four at bats…had one double and batted .250.

Junior Highlights:

(2017) Played in 40 games including 29 starts for the Saints ... batted .500 with 2 at-bats ... scored 8 runs ... had a .933 fielding percentage.
