Graduate Student Highlights (2024): Appeared in 29, started in 25 games this season for the Saints. Tallied a record of 7-18 with a 5.35 ERA (Team Lowest). Recorded a team high 148 Strikeouts through 165 Innings Pitched on the season. Recorded a season high 14 Strikeouts on March 16th against Cedarville. 

Senior Highlights (2023): Appeared in 26 games, making 21 starts for the Saints. Led the Saints with an ERA of 2.55 on the season and 123.2 innings pitched. She also compiled a record of 12-6 along with 2 saves, and 103 strike outs on the season. At the end of the season Gels sits 6th in career wins, 4th in career saves, 4th in career strike outs, and 3rd in career innings pitched. She earned Second Team All-Mid South Conference, CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-Conference honors.

Junior Highlights (2022): Appeared in 27 games, making 26 starts for the Saints. Compiled a record of 11-11 and an ERA of 3.10. Recorded a save, 17 complete games, 153.1 innings pitched, and 125 strikeouts. Earned Mid South Conference All-Academic honors.

First-Year Highlights: 
(2020) Made nine starts for the Saints, pitching 58.0 innings...Allowed a total of 25 earned runs with a team-high 46 strikeouts...Earned a complete game victory, allowing one run on eight hits with four strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Rio Grande on February 23...Pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only two hits, with six strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Reinhardt on March 1...Pitched four scoreless innings with three strikeouts in a 10-0 win over St. Ambrose on March 11...Finished the season 6-3 with a 3.02 ERA.

High School Highlights:
Annika was a four-year letterwinner at Eaton, coached by Maggie Neanen...She was named 2nd Team All-SWBL as a first-year player...She received 1st Team All-SWBL honors in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons...She was named SWBL Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore...She received All-State honorable mention in her senior year...She set school records for single-season strikeouts, career strikeouts, career wins, and career ERA.
