Zac Ober is entering his fifth season as the head men's volleyball coach at Thomas More University during the 2023-24 academic year.

In his fourth season (2023), Ober and the Saints recorded an overall record of 13-13 and a 6-4 finish in Mid-South Conference play. The Saints went 1-1 in the Mid-South Conference Tournament. Five Saints earned All-Conference honors.

In his third season (2022), Ober led the Saints to a 9-19 overall record. The Saints also finished with a 4-13 record in Mid-South Conference play. The Saints went 1-1 in the Mid-South Conference Tournament.

In his first season (2020), Ober led the Saints to a 4-12 record including a 1-4 mark in the Mid-South Conference before the season was cancelled due to COVID-19. In his second season, Ober led the Saints to a 5-17 overall record and 2-11 record in conference play, with a first round appearance in the Mid-South Conference Tournament.

Prior to Thomas More, Ober had served as the head boys volleyball coach at Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati since the program's inception in 2016. Under Ober's leadership, the team ranked as high as fifth in the state of Ohio.

Ober received the Ohio High School Boys Volleyball Association South Region Division I Coaches Achievement Award in 2017, 2019 and 2021. Ober's players have been named All-Conference 11 times, All-Region 9 times, and All-State twice in just four seasons. His 2019 and 2021 teams received the AVCA Team Academic Award, a national recognition for team GPA.

In addition to his work at Walnut Hills, Ober served as Creative Director and coached at Cincinnati Thunder Volleyball Club from 2007-2017. Ober was also a player, coach, and Club President for Bowling Green State University's men's club volleyball team from 2009-2011.
