John Edward Sandmann was born on August 29, 1993 ... son of Bob amd Mary Beth ... has six siblings, David, Julie, Emily, Kathy, Daniel and Lisa ... transfer from Wright State University.

High School Highlights:
John earned four varsity letters at Archbishop McNicholas High School, where he played for Coach Tony Rippberger.

Sophomore Highlights:
(2014) Played a reserve role for the Saints.

(2015) Played in six matches for the Saints ... helped anchor a defense that only allowed 22 goals on 195 shots.
