Maximo Bompart is in his second season as a Graduate Assistant for the men's soccer team at Thomas More University during the 2023-24 season.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela. Maximo graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan University, where he played for the men's soccer program. During his time at NCWU, the team earned two regular season championships in 2016 and 2018 and a USA South Conference tournament Championship in 2017 making it to the NCAA tournament, and Coach Bompart was a member of the USA South All-Academic Team during all his academic career graduating with a triple bachelor’s degree in just four years. During this time, Coach Bompart was also coaching at Tar River Soccer Association, assisting youth players and working ID camps with different colleges.
After graduation, Coach Bompart was named the Boy's Head Soccer Coach at Faith Christian High School managing around 50 players, where he helped restore the soccer program during COVID-19 season. Then, Maximo started working as Head Coach At North Carolina FC Youth in Raleigh, NC. He spent the summer of 2021 coaching at KICS FC in Chicago, where his girls squad qualified for the National Championship at the prestigious USL Super “Y” League.
In fall of 2021, He was named Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach at William Peace University, helping the pacers in a historic season winning their first ever Regular Season championship having numerous All-Conference and one All-Region player. In that same season, he also help lead the Women’s Soccer Pacers.
He has also received his USSF "D" National Coaching License and it’s currently pursuing his USSF “C” National Coaching License.
