Alexander Joseph Dean was born June 20, 1993 ... son of Joe and Karen Dean ... two siblings, Colin and Brady.

High School Highlights:
Alex played at Highlands High School where he earned four letters under Coach Matt Winkler ... he was a two-time First Team All-Region selection .... his senior season he was named First Team All-State.

Freshman Highlights:
(2011) Started in 18 of 19 games played ... helped anchor a defense that allowed 17 goals and posted eight shutouts.

Sophomore Highlights:
(2012) Named Second Team All-PAC ... had 5 points on the season with 2 goals and 1 assist ... helped anchor a defense that allowed 26 goals and posted 6 shutouts.

Junior Highlights:
(2013) Named All-PAC First Team ... played in 20 matches for the Saints ... had five points with one goal and three assists.

Senior Highlights:
(2014) Named third team NSCAA All-American and first team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region ... named first team All-PAC ... played in all 22 matches for the Saints ...  anchored a Saints' defense that posted 12 shutouts, while only giving up 14 goals and 181 shots, including only 77 on-goal ... had nine points on four goals and one assist
