Samantha Marie Sagers is the daughter of Carolyn and Jon Sagers ... has a brother, Bobby.

High School Highlights:
Sammy earned four varsity letters at Oak Hills High School, where she played for Jackie Cornelius, Dennis Martin and Ken Wilp ... her sophomore season, the team was district champions and regional runner-up as she won the team's Best Defensive Player Award and led the tem in RBIs ... her junior season she GMC All-Conference, named to the Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star Team and was SW District Honorable Mention, while also winning the Greater Cincinnati Scholar-Athlete Award ... as senior she won the Greater Cincinnati Scholar-Athlete Award and her team won the GMC Softball title for the first time in school history.

Freshman Highlights:
(2015) Named first team All-PAC ... played in 33 games including 25 starts ... batted .361 as she was 30-for-83 with one home run, one triple and nine doubles ... had 19 RBI and one-for-three in stolen base attempts.

Sophomore Highlights:
(2016) Played in 38 games including 36 starts…batted .343…was 36-of-105 at the plate…had eight doubles and 17 RBI. Named First Team All-PAC.

Junior Highlights:

(2017) Played in all 45 games including 44 starts for the Saints ... batted .385 with 11 doubles, 4 home runs, 28 RBI and 35 runs scored ... Named first team All-PAC and NFCA All-Central Region.
