Matthew Tyler Hargett was born on March 15, 1994 ... son of Cindy and Mark Hargett ... has one older sister, Lauren.

High School Highlights:
Matt earned three varsity letters at Walton-Verona High School, where he played for Dan Trame ... his senior year he was named MVP of the Smoky Mountain Classic, All Region, All-District, All Conference, All "A", and 32nd District tournament teams. 

Freshman Highlights:
(12-13) Played in five games and scored 11 points, while recording three steals.

Sophmore Highlights:
(13-14) Played in fifteen games and scored 29 points for the season
