Ryan Tanner is entering in his second year as the Graduate Assistant coach for the men's basketball team during the 2023-24 season.
 
Tanner earned his Bachelors in Sports Administration from University of Cincinnati in 2022. While at the University of Cincinnati (2019-2022), he was a student manager under Head Coach Wes Miller and former Head Coach John Brannen. During the 2021-22 season, Tanner was named as Head manager. In the 2019-20 season, the team won the regular season American Athletic Conference Championship.
 
Before his time at UC, he was at Northern Kentucky University for a year and was a student manager (2018-19). During his time at NKU, the team won the Horizon League’s regular season and tournament. The team also made an NCAA National Tournament appearance.
 
Currently, Tanner is earning his masters in Ethical Leadership at Thomas More.
 
Ryan is from Norwood, Ohio and played for Norwood High School.
