First Year Highlights (2022): Played a reserve role for the Saints.

High School Highlights: Yancey attended James A. Garfield High School, where he played for head coach Mike Moser. Earned three letters while playing for the G-Men, and also earned All-League honors twice, as well as Northeastern Ohio "Trench Team".

Personal: Payton Yancey is the son of Melinda Divincenzo and Michael Yancey. He has four siblings, Austin (21), Kristen (24), Ronin (2), and Kinely (4).
