Senior Highlights (2024): Appeared in 10 games for the Saints. Recorded 44 total punts on the season for 1,994 total yards, and an average punt of 45.3. Phillips finishes his career with program records for career punts (223), single game punt yards, season punt yards, career punt yards, and most yards per punt in a career (41.8). He earned First Team All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference honors.

Junior Highlights (2023): Appeared in all 11 games this season for the Saints. Philips downed 13 punts inside the 20. He had 2,295 total yards punting on 55 attempts. He also averaged 41.7 yards per punt with a long of 62 yards. Philips earned G-MAC Second Team All-Conference Honors.

Sophomore Year Highlights (2022): Appeared in all 11 games for the Saints…Third in the NAIA with 29 punts inside the 20…Fourth in the NAIA with 2,742 total yards punting…Tied for the eighth in the NAIA with 70 punts…Averaged 39.17 yards per punt…Had 12 punts of 50 plus yards with a long of 62… Named First Team All Mid-South Conference.

Sophomore Highlights (2021): Played in ten games for the Saints. Had 54 punts that went a total of 2285 yards and a long of 71 yards. Set the school record for punt yardage average in a season at 42.3 yards per punt. Earned First Team All-Mid South Conference honors, and AFCA NAIA All-American Honerable Mention honors.

First-Year Highlights (2020): Played a reserve role for the Saints. 

High School Highlights: Phillips was a three year letter winner under coach Jason Krause at Fairfield High School...All-Conference Team senior year.

Personal: Elgin Phillips is the son of Elgin and Sherry Phillips...four siblings, Matt, Josh, Lindsay, and Erica.
