Ben earned four varsity letters at Ross High School, where he played for Brian Butts ... had 112 career tackles, including 10.5 sacks ... his sophomore year he was named Honorable Mention All-Butler County and All-Academic FAVC ... his junior year he was name first team All-FAVC, Honorable Mention All-Butler County and All-Southwest Ohio.
