High School Highlights: Castrucci attended Conner High School, where he played for head coach Dave Trosper. He earned three letters while playing for the Cougers. He also earned 2022 District player of the Year, All-Conference, Kentucky Offensive Player of the Year Finalist, Conference Player of the Year, and two year team captain.

Personal: Alex Castrucci is the son of Tom Castrucci and Erin Schneider. He has one siblings named Tommy.
